Thank you for visiting my site and considering either booking me on as your Registered Wedding Celebrant or joining the wonderful wedding planning community at “Let’s get Hitched”.
As I will be helping with such a special event- when you MARRY EACH OTHER (how exciting eek) it is important you know a little more about me and why I love being a Wedding Celebrant & Coach!
Becoming a Wedding coach for me & creating Let’s get Hitched - was inevitable - I absolutely love guiding and teaching couples to plan their wedding as I really want couples to have fun, enjoy the time leading up to one of the BEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE - feel empowered with the right knowledge and have the right support to go on and plan their OWN wedding and plan something that is unique to their very own love story.
With all of my knowledge working in the event industry for over 20 years and in the wedding industry for over 12 years - it only felt right to share my passion & experience with every couple I can.
Becoming a Celebrant for me, rolls a lot of “loves” into one job - I love writing, I love to be creative, I love meeting new people (especially excited couples), I love planning, I love the Wedding Industry, I love Weddings and I love working for myself!
I feel like everyone goes on a career journey through their lives, circumstances change, you change as a person and eventually you work out what is 100% correct for you.
For me….. I started off working in the sporting events & marketing industry, travelled the world, met my amazing hubby in London and brought him back to AUS, worked as a venue event manager at 2 amazing venues, had my first baby, started by own wedding planning business, ran over 350 weddings with my little team, had my 2nd & 3rd baby at the same time (yep twinnies) ran another 50 weddings and then thought hmmmm I might take some time off to be with the littlies and work out what is next for me!
After a lot of brainstorming I realised becoming a CELEBRANT is perfect for me! Why did I not think of this sooner? I could not be happier having this amazing job and feel so lucky to wake up and do something I love every single day!
Then came along baby 4 and I have now added another element to my wedding business and created an online subscription based planning platform - Let’s get Hitched - how lucky am I to help so many couples with their special day!
That is me in a nut shell, but basically I have been in the events and wedding industry for over 20 years now and have a lot of experience on my side. Fair to say I know how to plan a wedding or two….
