As your celebrant I want to take the stress out of your ceremony and make it feel enjoyable, relaxed and special. It can be overwhelming to know where to start with your ceremony production….. that is where I come in - to help guide you through the process and manage it on the day.
Firstly we need to meet, as a couple you need to decide if I am the right celebrant for you. This catch up is obligation free, we can meet over a video call or an audio call, whatever is easiest for you. You may decide to book me in on the day or you may like to go away and think about it…..either option is fine! Check out the “Say Hello” page to make an enquiry.
I will email you a contract to sign which will include all payment details
I will organise all your legal paperwork
I will email you my resource kit with loads of ceremony ideas
I will send you some “love homework” to fill out and send back to me.
Once you have returned your love homework I will begin the construction of your wedding ceremony script. Once I have written your draft - I will contact you to organise a virtual catch up - we will run through all your finer details and such base. I want to ensure we have everything included to make your ceremony unique to your reltationship and personalities.
As I always have a “planning” hat on, I will also find out all your event details and add this to the script so we are all across everything for the ceremony! It is good for me to know the other vendors included in the ceremony such as photographers, musicians and catering.
We run through your choreography, all your final details one last time, I give you a lot of handy hints, work out where the bride will be arriving at the venue, chat about the ceremony location, have a chit chat, answer any last minute questions, hug & jump around with excitement and sign some more paperwork.
*I do offer on site rehearsals for an extra fee.
I will bring the PA system including a hand held microphone for your day. This can also be used for your music if you wish.
I will bring all legal paperwork and pen for signage.
I will bring a copy of your vows for you so you do not need to remember to pack them on the day.
I will bring your ceremony script on my iPad (this is what I will read from)
I will bring a massively excited enthusiastic smile :-)
I will arrive an hour before the ceremony begins and set up my equipment
I will greet the bridal party on both sides and make sure they are ready to roll
I will speak to any other parties whom may have a role in the ceremony
I will help settle any pre ceremony nerves
I will help manage the tunes - by briefing whoever is in charge and get them all sorted
I will conduct the ceremony on behalf of the married couple
I will bring the certificates for signing (and the pen)
I will give you a copy of a certificate to take home
I will be super excited and may shed a tear that you have become a married couple!!!
